Sony has around 40 3rd party developers onboard to develop games for Playstation Move and has promised that over 20 games will be available for the launch this year. As well as showing off a number of new titles that will cater for both social and hardcore gamers, Sony are going to giving a number of existing games the Move treatment. Apparently converting a game to Playstation Move is is not that hard to do. Don't expect the upgrade to be free though, Sony will almost certainly offer the upgrade through the PlayStation Network as paid DLC.
This is a list of all the Playstation Move Games we know about so far. Some of these games were demoed at Sony's conference held at GDC 2010.
This first person shooter makes full use of the wand and Navigation controller. The wand is used for aiming and shooting, whilst the Navigation controller is used for movement.
A PlayStation Move enabled version of LBP. Sony demoed this game at GDC, showing that PlayStation Move works well with genre.
This game makes use of the Sony Eye and PlayStation Move. The PS3 has long been seen as a hardcore gaming machine, more synonymous with person person shooters than anything else. This looks like a worthy attempt to attract more younger players away from the DS / Wii platforms.
This video shows the innovative way that the PlayStation Eye can be used with PlayStation Move. Parts of this video are reminiscent of Microsoft's Project Natal demo
This boxing game seems like more of a concept than a fully fledged game, but it does demonstrate the use of two wand controllers to give an accurate boxing simulation for both hands. This is something the Wii did not achieve due to the limited motion sensing capabiulities of the nunchuk.
A 'Wii Sports' style title. The mini games include Gladiator Duel and table tennis. The video below shows Sony demo a couple of mini-games from their upcoming title Sports Champions.
Another mini-games collection. We think it is likely that one of these titles will be bundled with every controller
Reminiscent of Microsoft's 'You're in the Movies'
