PlayStation Move Release Date

Playstation Move will be released in Europe on Sept 17th 2010 and 2 days later on Sept 19th 2010 Move hits North America.

PlayStation Move Packages and Prices

Sony revealed that PlayStation Move will be available in a number of different packages. The PlayStation Move starter kit will contain a PlayStation Move controller, a PlayStation Eye camera (PSEye) and a game, Sports Champions. This bundle is priced at $99.99 in the US, the UK price is £49.99.

The motion controller will also be sold as a solus package and as a PS3 bundle, so we would guess that the base price for the PlayStation Move in the UK would be £29.91.

PS3 Nunchuk Style Navigation Controller

During the demo phase of their presentation, Sony showed us a Wii Nunchuk style Navigation controller. Just like the Wii, the Navigation controller contains an analog stick and other buttons, unlike the standard Wii Nunchuk, the Navigation controller is wireless and has no motion sensors.

Sony used SOCOM 4 to demo the use of Move with the Navigation controller. The PlayStation Move controller was used for aiming at targets and the Navigation controller for player movement. The controller combination looked very effective for a first person shooter.
